When doing a fantasy draft, how do you go about drafting your team? Do you build from the net out? Or do you build from forwards back? Do you take into account on how much a player makes and if so do you still draft said player?
Do you like the first pick overall or the last pick overall or in the middle (14-18) picks?
Does selecting the right team help with how well the team performs?
I am asking as I have been trying different styles to see what is the best to go with.
I used to do some fantasy drafting in EA’s NHL games long time ago, so it’s most likely different to HLM’s fantasy draft, but;
I remember usually drafting the 1st line forwards & defense and going from line to line, picking up a starter goaltender midst of that
When I complete the Top 9 F / Top 4 D, I start drafting younger players, so that I can have a possible replacement in future, as the core from fantasy draft is usually older.
I always selected in middle, as I imagined that there’s less elite players than players that can fit in a team.
Eventually I gave up fantasy drafting, because EA’s simulation engine made me go 20-48-14.
