Tracking attendance per game and season could be a really fun stat to add.
Attendance could be affected by:
- How good the team is doing (and how good they did in previous seasons, ex. Buffalo had terrible attendance after being awful for years)
- How good individual players are doing
- Stars on the team
- New players added
- Market size
- Rivalries
- Important games (to clinch playoffs spot, playoff games)
- How big the arena is
- All of the above on the visiting team
The game could suggest relocating a team that has poor attendance to a different city (or automatically to cities pre-approved by the player), although that’s a longshot.
Could be toggled on or off or only shows average/total attendance at the end of the season or could be toggled on or off for each league to reduce lag.
