I would love to see support for a true farm team/affiliate system in custom leagues.
For example, when using SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan as connected leagues, it would be great if SHL teams could assign prospects to affiliated clubs, let them develop there, and freely call them up or send them down during the season, similar to the NHL/AHL system.
This would make prospect development much more realistic and add another layer of team management. It would also be great if custom leagues could support features such as call-ups, send-downs, two-way contracts, and affiliate relationships between teams.
This would be especially useful for players who create NHL-style league structures using custom leagues, such as SHL as the main league and HockeyAllsvenskan as a developmental or farm league.
I think this would be a fantastic addition for players who enjoy building realistic league structures outside of North America.
