I’m not quite sure if it can be implemented in this game but I think a be a pro simulation version would be pretty cool like maybe we don’t control a team and we get drafted through the years and what we can do is focus on our skills or maybe development of a trait
While Be a Pro could be nice for a game like this, it’s another whole aspect of the game
It’s like creating another Hockey Legacy Manager into Hockey Legacy Manager, so I’d say it’s kind of unlikely for Be a Pro to be a thing (if not, maybe much later in the future)
I’ve received this suggestion countless times, and I genuinely love the idea, my concern is just with the gameplay loop that would make the mode actually fun to play.
As a GM, you always have something to do: trading, adjusting lines, managing contracts, sending players down throughout the season. But in a player career, if you’re not in a contract year, your options are limited and once you’re 27+ and no longer progressing overall, there’s even less driving you forward.
I’d love to add this mode to the game. It just feels like the concept needs more meat on its bones before it’s ready.

I think it almost warrants a separate game, within HLM I have a hard time seeing how this would be very fun.
Plus, you can already create a custom player, manage each team they play for throughout their career, set their trainings, and watch them get contract offers in UFA. That is functionally the same thing as what a be a pro mode without gameplay would entail.
