Similar to how history mode lets certain scripted event happen (league expansion and team relocation), I would like to see leagues form and leagues fold. If I start in the 60s and play into the 2000s and beyond, the ECHL should become available. Have the WHA be a rival to the NHL and then fold into the NHL. Stuff like that.
