Wondering if you can help, doing a career in NHL. Contract total cap hit seems to change constantly, are there rules that impact the end figure that aren’t explained?
Sometimes it seems to be nothing that affects it, for example, when the playoffs started I went from having $10mil cap space to suddenly being $5mil over. Also, I’ve just calculated my whole teams cap next season to $132mil but the game indicates a $114mil hit. I’ve traded a player who had a $5mil cap hit for a draft pick but the cap only went down $1mil. Players in AHL or loaned to other leagues, doesn’t seem to be that.
